It’s only REAL socialism if it helps the poor at the expense of the rich who can well afford it. If it helps the rich at the expense of the poor who cannot afford it, well, that’s just good business. 🤬

Bugs the heck out of me that people use anarchy as a synonym for chaos because they can’t imagine harmony & peace without hierarchy.
Much like “Luddite”, “Anarchy” has been stigmatized by the ownership class so we masses don’t recognize our potential power when we organize.

Every time I restart my M3 Pro #MacBook Pro, it asks me to set up iCloud & then goes to the “Welcome (Continue)” screen as if I’m using a new device for the first time. Every time. Google is useless. Does anyone have any idea why & what I need to do to make it not do that? #Apple #macOS

my wife and her entire team were fired over Zoom from their program manager jobs at a local nonprofit Seattle hospital this Spring because Trump just stopped paying Medicaid reimbursements. and this is a relatively affluent urban center

If there were ever a game series I wish would get a port to Nintendo Switch 2 or macOS , it’s this one. Dishonored was so good, and I’d love to be able to replay it.
The best thing about Dishonored‘s world-building might be how effortlessly it weaves its almost supernatural whale-oil-powered technology into Victorian-era sensibilities.
Years later, Arkane’s Dishonored is still a modern stealth classic
