Ogo, a red seaweed from the Gracilaria group, is something we grew up eating. It was plentiful around Ewa Beach, attached to reefs and washed up on the sand (not farmed as today's are). After washing it at home, Mom poured boiling water over it, then served it with a sweet, miso-based dipping sauce.

The NSF mural in the foyer is removed and torn off in sheets.

We were supposed to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the agency in May 2025. That never happened.

A small and exotic Buddha found far from home in #VikingAge buildings on the Swedish lake island of Helgö.

Probably made in the Swat Valley, the Buddha travelled some 5,000 km from its place of origin, encapsulating the idea of long-distance trade during the Viking Age.
