I will miss her desperately, but I'm glad we were able to give her such a long life, and that she was able to end it at home, warm and comfy in my arms as she deserved.
Thank you everyone who loved her. She will always be our one true President.

I have never known a cat so good-natured, so confident that the world revolved around her, and so beloved by everyone who met her. I am so glad she was my son's first exposure to cats, that she was so gentle and sweet to him from the beginning, and has helped begin to love and understand animals.

Today we said goodbye to Sterling, also known as President Princess, Purrling, and Fat Kitty, who was just a few months shy of 22. My best friend and companion for over half my life, I knew her from kittenhood and she was mine for 16 years.

the most important thing I got out of grad school was learning to work in a production team (and to run my own, shoutout to my thesis film kids)

I also firmly believe that creative kids who are forced to find other collaborators for their weird little nerd projects learn immensely valuable skills like “successful collaboration” and “working with weird assholes” in the process

some people claim that using AI for creative work makes sense because it can complement your own skills and theoretically I guess

BUT I grew up on the 2000s nerd and art kid internet and finding a creative collaborator for your weird little unpaid projects is REALLY NOT VERY HARD
