Hate hearing people say they're tired of politics. This is not politics, it's life or death, literally, for the planet and for all of us.

Just another reminder to forward this to your friends and tell them to leave that frigging cesspool.
For the last few days on X, people (mainly women, and sometimes children) have had nonconsensual images of them in swimsuits (or much worse) requested by users and created by Grok.

Musk's only apparent response thus far has been to crack jokes about it.
so x dot com’s ai generated CSAM and they admitted it may violate US law and … i haven’t seen in anyone in power say much at all or call to stop using the platform

Bleeding out like a Romanov because he ignored his doctors and took too much aspirin would be the funniest possible outcome of this farce.
Trump admits he applies makeup to his hands to hide bruises. He takes more aspirin than his doctors recommend — 325 milligrams a day — which causes him to bruise easily.

"…I don't want thick blood pouring through my heart," Trump says. "I want nice, thin blood pouring through my heart."
Exclusive | As Signs of Aging Emerge, Trump Responds With Defiance
In an interview, President Trump—the oldest man to assume the office—said he has eschewed some advice from his doctors and regrets getting advanced imaging.

uhhh yeah I can see why these childcare properties weren't eager to let in some rando dudes asking "where are the kids?"

DHS publicly fantasizing about massive state violence should be taken seriously, and warrants labels such as fascist and white supremacist. But don't lose sight of the fact that it's beyond their capabilities.

The regime's desire for authoritarian repression is bottomless. Its capacity isn't close.
They want to wipe out almost a third of the country. It’s got nothing to do with illegal immigration.

It’s white nationalism pure and simple. They’re fascists, and there’s no reason to doubt it.

Trump and Stephen Miller are actually failing in crucial ways. Deportations are lagging behind their goals, courts are mostly functioning, and their fascist, ethnonationalist cruelties have unleashed a countermobilization of unexpected scope and power.

Where Are You Going, America?

America is no longer a democracy. That doesn’t mean authoritarianism has won. But merely restoring the pre-Trump status quo won’t work. The country needs a democratic transformation.

Pay attention. Believe that they are planning the worst.
For folks still struggling with the math:

There are ~345 million US citizens.

There are ~245 million white US citizens.

This is what they mean by "Peaceful ethnic cleansing." Their plan ends with deporting all non-white people.

Not "undocumented criminals."

Not even "all undocumented people."
This should not be shrugged aside. They have stopped with the fake 22 million illegal immigrants things and are flat out saying we want to deport 10's of millions of citizens and legal residents from "third world countries" Basically they are advocating removing 1/3 of the population on a gov site.

A little unclear on the proposed positioning of the structure. Is it supposed to arch over the 6 lanes of traffic on Memorial Bridge? Or just go off to the side — directly obscuring the LINCOLN MEMORIAL?
Congress should stop this.

Also, if Trump wants to enjoy an imitation of the Arc de Triomphe done in a style and at a place congenial to him, he can visit the Arch of Triumph in Pyongyang, completed in 1982.
