I found out this morning they were found by the children of the then vicar in the late 1970s. What makes this feel so odd and makes my skin prickle is that I know one of them. And it’s Jess Streeting who wrote Sea Change, which is an amazing prose poem about the loss of her father.

Our neighbours cat insists on being let into the back garden via the house so he can have a slightly shorter stroll home.

Today is a day when arts degrees are worthless, but the product of those degrees is so valuable it would kill an entire industry if they were made to pay for it.

When I had my graduation at Norwich Cathedral as a mature student in October 2000 I was really proud. I did not do well at school and was made to think that I would never achieve anything by my teachers.

I got my Nan a spurtle for Christmas one year and she was delighted. She loved a bowl of porridge.

I started reading with a comic called Teddy Bear. My Dad got me a treasury of poetry and he would read me a poem from it at bedtime. The highlight of my week was my weekly visit to the library.

I am wondering too, the injuries aren't helping obviously. I have gone from hoping for top 6 to staying up as my hope.

We had a cat on our road that used end up in random people's houses. He ended up living 50/50 with his owners and at the local pub where he had his own bed and food. He now has a memorial in the pub garden.
