Harvard and Google AI mapped one cubic millimeter of a human brain. It took up 1.4 petabytes of storage just in pictures of the specimen. So the entire brain would take ~ 1.6 zettabytes of storage, cost $50 billion, and require 140 acres. It would be the largest data center on the planet— one brain.

Jim Lee openly disparaging AI in no way guarantees anything, no one knows what the future of AI is and no one knows who will be in charge at DC Comics down the line. But I think it's important that a popular artist publicly shot AI down. Fans and artists ignorant of or using AI need to hear this.

I'm struck by how modern this film feels. Set pieces that leave you wondering "how did they pull that off?", the economic dialogue, the mixture of comedy and tragedy, the kinship among characters who have been rewarded and scarred in equal measure by doing what they love. Just excellent.
