Now that Dems are literally focusing on kitchen table issues (ie, healthcare/inflation etc), they're being criticized for "not focusing on preventing fascism."

Yes, yes it would have. That's literally how democracy f***ing works, and the reason the GOP is even in the position to subvert democracy the way they are is because they voted harder when lefter-than-thous refused and abstained.

Like, I feel like many of the things folks attribute to malice or complicity are simply investigative leads that simply didn't pan out for the larger umbrella case, which is something that...just happens sometimes? And folks are making judgments with the benefit of hindsight.
