the question to ask about this is, okay, he wants to cancel the midterms. how does he get the VA state board of elections to cancel the midterms? how does he get the georgia board of elections to do it? how does he convince republican house members to quit their jobs and give up their paychecks?

I switched to using Bookshop about a year ago. Everyone should do it. Same catalogue of books, same buying process, have had no problems. And my money goes to a local indie bookstore that I designate, even if the actual book doesn't come from them. A clean, easy way to cut Amazon out of your life.
Indie bookstores are run by incredible humans who actually care about the world and people around them, who open their doors to those who need it, who speak out against injustice and demand better.
