I have a friend who said, of Starfleet Academy, that this took them out of it - that seeing a person in a wheelchair in the 32nd century seemed unrealistic, since medicine in Star Trek "should be able to cure whatever was wrong with them."

That's not the case, for any number of possible reasons.

Sooner or later one of these imbeciles will figure the best way to handle a power struggle in the Trump White House is to try to kill their rivals and boy howdy you better learn how to spell "defenestration"

Noem “closely monitored how her national profile compared with other officials. Top of her list was Homan, with whom she has been in a battle for power.

“Noem routinely berated staff if she saw Homan on TV and kept track of both their appearances to make sure she was on TV more than him”

A pre-cooked rotisserie chicken from Safeway is $9.99. If I bought one every day for a year, that's $3,646.35. The average price of a house in the United States is $400,000. It would cost about 109 years of daily rotisserie chickens to buy that house.

Ill say it again its hilarious how many problems that game put on itself by having an arbitrary arkham connection

People would be less pissed at batman's death because its another universe that goes down the shitter, not the bats we known for years

Dont have to explain deadshot
If I have to use this to prove Kill the Justice League isn’t the original Arkhamverse, then by god I will

Its not inaccurate, konami jumped ship from the n64 era because Playstation was better to develop for
"A lot of People Remember Konami from being with the Playstation from the beginning."

Am I just old, or is this untrue?

Like, when you hear "Konami", don't you think of like, Contra and Castlevania on NES?

Chadwick Boseman and James van der Beek both died in their 40s of an illness that's treatable if a colonoscopy catches it but almost no insurer covers them for people under 45, this is what Engels meant by "social murder"

Not enough adaptations about how much Wonderland sucked and Alice had a bad time. And I don't mean a dark and twisted spooky subversion or whatever, she hated it the first time around in the book. Everyone was a huge asshole to her.

There are *journalists* on here who will post something that is AI or photoshopped, and people will *tell them* and they will leave it up and continue having side conversations with the commenters who still think it’s real and the only conclusion I can draw is that they’re addicted to their numbers.

I'll put this in terms of smaller dollars since people have trouble with big numbers.
Imagine investing $5000 a year into a money making project and only getting $1.40 back so far.
Sora 2 apparently cost something like $5 billion to run every year and so far made OpenAI around $1.4 million.
