A big problem I have with event comics nowadays is theres very little build up anymore, and what little there is just isn’t great. The build up used to almost always be the best part of a lot of these things. But lately they just sorta Happen and you just gotta wait for it to end

I keep seeing folks referring to scams like “wanna buy some magic beans” which is weird because in Jack and the Beanstalk the magic beans were very much real. Like, I get what you were going for but that dude was in no way trying to scam Jack. He had real ass magic beans and just wanted a cow.

Let me tell you, growing up in Oklahoma I didn't drink tap water much. Everything was bottled or filtered or whatever because tap water just tasted bad, especially in OKC.

I have a friend who said, of Starfleet Academy, that this took them out of it - that seeing a person in a wheelchair in the 32nd century seemed unrealistic, since medicine in Star Trek "should be able to cure whatever was wrong with them."
That's not the case, for any number of possible reasons.
