So if I did start ordering comics online who is the best supplier? Im happy doing pre-orders and stuff and I don't get huge amounts (four or five monthly titles at the moment is think) so wouldn't be bothered if they only got posted out once a month or something

I would go as far as to say it’s actually an important trait to being a good artist, to have a firm sense of who and what you don’t like and what you don’t want to do.

The fun part of AI in medical fields is that it's created so many breaches of HIPAA sourcing together information, even when insurances process claims via AI entirely without checking patient names and addresses in full.
When all that comes to light there are going to be so, so many lawsuits.

my “AI is over” anecdote is that my wife was hired over the summer to write scripts for a big tech company explaining how to use their AI tools and after many rounds of revisions, the latest notes said “we’re finding a lot of AI fatigue among our users” and to remove all references to AI
Anecdotally on twitter seeing a big shift the last few days from every AI slop account saying every other creative field is “over” and they’re in control now to now posting about how nobody likes them and it’s not fair and they’ll persevere and real artists respect and uplift eachother

I am old enough to remember when the unis forced everyone to return to the classrooms during covid, refused to allow anyone to take a gap year, and endangered us all because they wanted the rent money. But I guess they have a new scam now. Won't even need students soon!

In Singapore, authors do *not* get paid when you borrow our books from the library, but I would still rather you get my books there than pirate them.
Hi, I live paycheck to paycheck & am the author of two published books. Don't pirate them. There are many ways to enjoy them free like by using your library. Revenue from them comes to me, a real person who needs them & committedly distributes mutual aid.
