A new press release from ManageMyHealth has gone out.

It appears to contain an apology and announcement of a High Court injunction on accessing any files released as part of this incident.

PHOs may have chosen other patient portal systems to replace MMH by then..
A 48 hour deadline might well mean members of the public find out there data is in it via the breach rather than an individual notificsation from the company as theirs was going to be following confirmation of forensics and missions with PHOs and GPS
About 10 minutes ago, "Kazu" posted the following statement regarding ManageMyHealth.

Their stated reason for lowering the deadline is frustration with ManageMyHealth's response to their messages. They also cite the relatively fast public acknowledgement of the breach as another reason.

Just an FYI, for no particular reason..
Bill English’s wife Mary, charges patients $60pa if they want the practice to use the Manage My Health portal.
Otherwise they charge for phone calls for test results etc.
