Hello everyone, I'm Christian. I'm working IT support in a library, where I also get to train people now and then. Usually open to everything pop culture, so I'm keeping update on everything I read and watch, no matter if it's #comics, #movies, #TV or #streaming series. Also learning #Esperanto.

King, police abolition is not about defunding every department instantly. It's about a gradual process o strategically reallocating resources, funding and responsibility away from police and toward community based models of safety, support and prevention. The people who respond to crises in our community should be people who are best equipped to deal with those crisis.

Friend I want to echo that last statement and dig down a little further. Crime isn't random. Most off the time, it happens when someone has been unable to meet their basic needs through other means. By shifting money away from police and toward services that actually meet those needs, we'll be able to get to a place where we won't need to rob banks.

This is bigger than just police brutality; it's about how the prison industrial complex, the drug war, immigration law and the web of policy, law and culture that forms our criminal justice system has destroyed millions o lives, and torn apart families. Cops don't prevent crime, they cause it, through ongoing violent disruption of our communities.

The gunplay is fantastic and it's obvious, what games inspired its setting, artstyle, music, transitions, etc.

What I find rather boring is the level design. There are far too many hallways in various brown and beige colours. #Steam #NextFest
