Press conferences and social media posts have not changed conditions on the ground. Another person taken today off of Central Ave and Northeast middle school had to delay letting kids leave because of ICE presence in the area. The federal government continues to make our community less safe.

I keep thinking about the moral pincer concept that @baratunde.com describes here. Leading with non-violence is necessary, it’s risky no matter what, yes it’s unjust and hypocritical and they will escalate and provoke, and we still need to show up to resist and disrupt, but train up and be prepared.

A lot of the early responses to the murder of Renee Good were about ICE agents needing more training. It turns out Jonathan Ross wasn't just very well trained but was training other people. That should probably tell us something.

The Olympic games really showing how much they care about the womens tournament. They have only ever talked about the ice being ready for the mens tournament, not a care about the womens teams.
The first game staged inside the main venue where hockey will be played at the Milano Cortina Olympics had to be delayed for five minutes to repair a hole in the ice.

If I read this right we can still do 311 reports on people for icy sidewalks even if it has been a while since last snowfall? The warm weather the last week or so has given people plenty of opportunities to clear snow and ice buildup and lots just haven't.

Walking is kind of dicey in MPLS this AM. Lots of slush and puddles with slick ice underneath. Anyone with a responsibility to clear sidewalks needs to be out today before things freeze overnight

Her shot is so special when she lets it rip. I can't tell if the offense doesn't set her up for more shots or she is looking for passes first then shots, but the Frost really need to get her shooting more per game given her shot.
