It was believed in medieval times that hedgehogs had spikes so they could roll over fruit to carry home to their children, which is not true but is a really cute idea

This evening on ‘Beefcake the ungovernable’ she had a blast in the playpen, kicked out a load of sand from a sandpit, and when I put my hand into the pen she ran up inside my dressing gown sleeve and up my arm. I had to shake her out into my hand and she sounded like a brick when she hit my palm

I have three pairs alone in my bedside drawer. At any given moment I might find one of them.

At least another two bought while on holiday, but no idea where they are.

Sometimes, in the middle of a Big Tidy, I will find another pair, in the middle of 8-year-old bank statements. It's great.

My favorite artifact in the "you don't need AI to do art" discourse is, of course, screenwriter Dan O'Bannon's sketch of the facehugger to explain it to Giger.

It would be very, very funny if that Fox & Friends clip was real... but it's on a channel filled with AI slop.

Unfortunately I'm 98% sure it's a fake - albeit pretty well-done.

Literally the first thing I did after my first dose of Elvanse kicked in was clean all the cats' dishes, which was somehow the HARDEST THING EVER to get started before.

Never felt so alive.

I moved to a new town six yrs ago & I must have a doppelgänger there named Alan. When I'm in a shop or out with the dog someone often shouts "alright Al". I've given up correcting them & just say hi back. I secretly like it as the real me could never be as popular as Al.

I can understand people not liking the overall arc, but... like... look at the name of the comic! Bad decisions WILL happen!

And I really don't get people saying this came out of nowhere. Were... were they actually paying attention? Are these the people who got that bad US reading comp education??
