humor is an effective form of protest. there is data on this. there are a thousand forms of protest. just because this is goofy doesn't mean it's stupid.

“I’m worried about my community… I’m out here in a frog costume to show how ridiculous the notion that we’re violent terrorists is, and showcase how that narrative is wrong…”

Serious Q: is it too late to give this dude the Nobel Peace Prize? 🐸 🏆

Chicago priest Fr. Larry Dowling describes procession to ICE facility: “No one had the courage to speak directly to us. No one from Homeland Security could stand in the presence of the Monstrance holding the Blessed Sacrament. No wonder. Evil is repelled, recoils in the presence of Christ.”

Simply could not be more clear that the firings have nothing to do with the shutdown. It’s just people Trump and Vought have been planning to fire for a very long.

Yes, "bypassing rules meant to ensure that federal officials don’t abuse their power for partisan purposes" is sort of their deal. www.yahoo.com/news/article...

About a quarter of FBI agents are assigned to immigration enforcement, with the number climbing to upward of 40% in the largest FBI field offices, according to The Washington Post. Agents have been pulled from investigations into cybercrime, drug trafficking, terrorism, counterintelligence and more.

There's nothing at all wrong with being Palestinian, and using "Palestinian" in this way is deeply racist against Palestinians, but it is also antisemitic, because it defines Jewishness as something that can be granted and removed for political reasons.
JD Vance describes Chuck Schumer as "one of the most famous Palestinians in the world"

Hegseth to Geneva Conventions: drop dead
Hegseth: "We unleash overwhelming and punishing violence on the enemy. We also don't fight with stupid rules of engagement. We untie the hands of our warfighters to intimidate, demoralize, hunt, and kill the enemies of our country. No more politically correct and overbearing rules of engagement."

One of my favourite German words to say aloud is Flurfunk. It describes gossip or rumours that spread through the workplace and means, literally, "hallway radio."

On a related note, a Finnish word for gossipers is kahvipöytäparlamentti. It means "coffee break parliament."

Brooke, the last part of your statement would like a word with the first part of your statement.
Rollins: "Trump has been the most pro-farmer POTUS perhaps in history, but this moment of uncertainty in the farm economy is real. There are many reasons for that. Obviously, the ongoing trade discussions w/China. It is going to be gangbusters, but right now the farm economy is not in a good place"

I know there's a lot going on but this is a huge deal: Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin will stop providing abortions next week in an apparent bid to keep accepting Medicaid. The GOP budget law "defunds" PP affiliates that offer abortion care after October 1

We broke the story on @autonomynews.co
Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin to Halt Abortion Services
Sources say the affiliate isn't scheduling abortion appointments after September 30 in an apparent attempt to avoid Medicaid "defunding."

Without further ado, here is the trailer for Jeffrey Epstein: Bad Pedophile.

Against all odds, it will air in select theatres on October 2nd, along with the theatrical debut of Sex House.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow.

And, yes, this is real.
Forget everything you already know about America's most notorious dead person. Jeffrey Epstein: Bad Pedophile is in select theaters October 2.

Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension wasn’t “cancel culture.” It was government coercion. Brendan Carr told Benny Johnson, “we can do this the easy way or the hard way,” and affiliates panicked.

Regulatory threats can’t be the answer to speech we don’t like. If we let this stand, no voice is safe.

Both he and Malone are trying to argue that people with pre-existing conditions *must* already have access to a doctor. I just...have they been to this country before?
Reposted by Elyse N, Ph.D.
People often have to go to urgent care or the ER because they don't have a doctor and they are SICK.
You don't got there when you're HEALTHY.

The ACIP vote was tied 6-6 for requiring everyone to get a prescription for the COVID19 vaccine.

The chair broke the tie by voting NO.

Prescriptions will NOT be required.

Having had some time to process the ACIP meeting, I am left not fully understanding the apparent conflict of:

The FDA approving COVID19 vaccines for those aged 65+ and those with underlying conditions.

ACIP *appearing* to have recommended them for everyone over 6 months without a prescription.
