My page is pretty much a catalogue of games I've played and movies/tv/anime I've watched. Maybe bits about Japanese learning too.

This was the first thing I made on famitracker, back in 2014. I still really like the composition, though what I actually ended up doing was making a 2a03 version of this and adding an extra section which I submitted to famicompo. might upload it but I don't think it was as good. #chipsky #chiptune
Actually itching to play more Wizardry... I think allowing myself to reload until I get my other dead characters back definitely takes the worst of the pressure off

harder mode jigsaw trap: make the average video games are art on backloggd guy play apple 2 wizardry without even THINKING about reaching for that snes compilation. it’s always remakes are anti-art unless they’re before the ps2...

(jigsaw voice) hello backloggd user. in front of you is a copy of ys1 and a pc88. you will have to write a 10 page essay detailing why playing any remake of this game is anti-art. failure in doing so will have you playing the re4/sh2 remakes for the rest of time without the ability to complain

Tech hardware is in such a dire spot.
Last month I thought my ram had failed. Luckily it seemed to simply be poorly seated but at the time I checked with my local shop to see if they had any ddr4 ram and they said they couldn't get any due to a ram shortage.

It's fucking dire

I understand framing the AI bubble RAM supply crisis in terms of stuff like video game consoles because nerds can conceptualize that but the framing does really undersell the sheer magnitude of how it's going to fuck up everything that even touches a computer.

Misreading Skulltula as "Skulluta" is more common than I thought lol
I didn't realise myself until replaying the game as an adult. I mean obviously it's skull + tarantula the wordplay is so blatant
This is why I just recently dropped a game 😂😂😂😂

Like we don’t need banter every second silence is okay haha

As iconic as he is, Murphy's Ghost's very existence is quite easily the worst thing about Wizardry 1
IDK if I can even have the heart to play Wizardry again rn, I'm basically starting from almost 0 again.

Maybe I just need a good long youtube vid to relax and grind murphy's ghost to

One grinding sesh later and my party's leveled up a bit. I reclassed my 2 fighters into a lord and samurai, and wait a fucking second why is my priest evil?????
February 16, 2026 at 9:29 PM
Btw, I think I've come to a decision on save scumming. If this party wipes before I get the other characters back and resurrect them, I am reloading. Fuck starting a new party from scratch I am not gonna fucking do it again.

ok I called fighting games "hard" and that's kinda true, they've always been mechanically intricate and very high skill ceiling but they're also only as "hard" as the best player you play against

prior to netplay that was just, the best guy in your friend group. now everyone's a world warrior.

Getting Cutting Edge Argus in World of Warcraft.

Honestly clearing Antorus Mythic in general was a really fun time. But getting my first cutting edge was absolutely a special moment for me.
I hope I can get the life circumstances to make semi hardcore raiding feasible for me again one day...
with the understanding that it’s all a bit silly and that’s okay, what’s your proudest video game accomplishment?

for me, I think it’s doing everything in Bloodborne. It’s the only game I ever intentionally got all the trophies in; I just wanted to get every last bit out of it.

Love this world we have now, where consoles get more expensive the older they are instead of cheaper.

This is what desperation looks like. Desperation to keep perpetuating the lie of infinite growth, a scam they’re running out of ways to keep up.

It’s so utterly fucking pathetic.
Acc to a Bloomberg reporting, Sony is considering to push back the PlayStation 6 to 2028/2029. Nintendo is also considering a Nintendo Switch 2 price increase in 2026.

The other day there were suggestions on what should be done to make AAA games cheaper or how to prevent layoffs. I don't really know the answer to that. I don't think the solution to that is simple.
But anyone saying it's because consumers aren't spending enough money are frankly out of touch

Got a party sorted for Wizardry, a mix of old and new characters. Also renamed one to ensure I could keep with the bird theme!
