Literally the 2020’s are defined by the phrase “but her emails” and all the ironic context implied by that
To recap: Jeffrey Epstein offered a NY Times reporter photos taken in Epstein's kitchen of Donald Trump and girls in bikinis *and* implored the NYT reporter to put this information in the public discourse in 2015

What did the NY Times editors know about this offer?
“would you like photos of donald and girls in bikinis in my kitchen?” -Jeffrey Epstein

Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

New video: A glacier on Antarctica’s Eastern Peninsula experienced the fastest retreat recorded in modern history—in just two months, nearly 50 percent of the glacier disintegrated. Watch this video to understand what happened. Study by @ciresnews #Antarctica #glaciermelt

Once again democracy is saved by the villains being dumber than everyone else. We live in a Scooby doo episode.
Understand that the Halligan thing is 100% Pam Bondi's fuck-up. She could have appointed Halligan Special Attorney and this thing would still be alive.

So it's not just that HALLIGAN is an incompetent bigot.

It's that Bondi is too.

In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

So according to the culture war addled, right wing scotus justices, no evidence for claim means no can prove point.

But no evidence mean good thing here, I say.

No. No evidence of bad thing in case. Judge Thomas say. So that mean no prove that bad thing bad.

Not how think work, I say.
“When Justice Thomas writes in his concurrence “This absence of evidence is a “major drawback” in assessing the effects of puberty blockers on children with gender dysphoria” he collapses a complex, very real evidence-base into non-existence through what I can only describe as rhetorical magic.”

I never expected to write about my time rigging card games. Then I watched him get elected in 2016. I hinted at it with a post. When Kavanaugh was sworn in, I’d had enough. The book is set in the world of crooked poker, but that’s not what it’s about. It’s about what’s happening to all of us now.

They are literally firing all the judges they think might grant relief. They just fired a friend of mine a couple hours ago. They have no shame. The bastards want an assembly line for deportations and nothing more; rubber-stamping bootlickers who’ll yes’sir at every new diktat to deny.
Instead of hiring more immigration judges, the Department of Justice just posted an ad for "deportation judges." join.justice.gov

i think it’s time to retire “online leftists” and start using “people who are constantly proven right about everything all of the time”

Following up on this. This remains a ‘cave is minutes or hours away’ situation. If you want to impact how this plays out you need to contact senators literally now. I want to add additional points of context. What I’m relaying is what I’ve picked up from highly reliable sources.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

This corporate vs citizens conflict is, to me, the most important theme of 2025 and beyond.

Pushing back against the extortion and exploitation of corporate profit-interests is the People’s fight
trump's effort to sway voters by threatening them if they don't elect the candidate he prefers has been notably ineffective. voters just get mad and say, "fuck off, bully."

as opposed to his efforts to threaten corporations, media orgs, universities, and elites, all of whom tend to cave instantly.

Alright. Ally @cowboylikeally.swifties.social gave me track 10. It was kinda tough because I apparently like track 9’s or 11’s more frequently.

Here’s my picks!

Reply and I’ll give you a track number! [f(X)=all real integers, domain (1,~50)]

God I miss Quiznos. I really need a sandwich now. Not jimmy johns though. Bleh.
Assault now. Injury, government says, isn’t the layman’s definition but the legal one. “Hit with a sandwich. Having a sandwich spiked on your chest. Is that offensive to a person of reasonable sensibilities? Certainly. We have an assault.”
November 6, 2025 at 8:26 PM
Amazing
‪Closing arguments begin. The government says, “Everyone has a right to their personal beliefs…However, that does not give them the right to touch another person, to strike another person, even with a sandwich.”‬
