part of the reason i beat up so hard on democratic weakness is we need people who are tough on the monsters that continue to allow childrens brains to be splattered on the walls by gunshots. i dont want to make nice with these people. they're not "good friends" and "colleagues" on the other side.

The last time troops policed America was in the 1770s.

We fought a revolution against that king, and wrote into the Constitution the Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments to prevent it from ever happening again.

Pass it along…

Did you know there’s a special election THIS Tuesday in Iowa that could break the GOP super majority in the Iowa state senate?

I had no idea.

Just saw it on Tik Tok.

Now…just out of curiosity, do you think the DNC should have rallied national Dems to support this election?

You know what's crazy? There have been no op-eds or editorial statements in major newspapers this year calling on Trump to resign. None calling for his impeachment. None asking if he's medically fit to be in office. Not one in any major newspaper all year.

It’s wild, absolutely wild, how for EVERY. SINGLE. CITY. Trump wants to militarize I can post data showing how crime is plummeting in all of them without any federal invasion…

… and the press KEEPS stenographing the naked bad-faith claims about “fighting crime!” in the headlines.

Infuriating.
Giant YTD drops in Chicago for basically all crimes.

Huge 4-reductions in Chicago for all violence. Murders are down FIFTY PERCENT.

Property crimes are dropping, tho still higher than before. But MRAPs don’t stop theft.

This is all pretext. Yet the WaPo subhed frames it as a “crime” issue.

Some of you have followed me long enough to remember when I spent weeks on here saying the attacks on Claudine Gay were a transparent harbinger for what was coming. And I was just saying the obvious thing generations of Black women have said about canaries and coal mines…
Not enough people are talking about the blatant, consistent targeting of Black people, and especially Black excellence, and especially Black women.
From major cities with Black mayors, including LA, DC, Chicago, NYC & Baltimore; to Tish James to Lisa Cook to General Charles Brown (and much more).
Long before she joined the Fed, Lisa Cook stood out in a field dominated by white men. She talked about how her experience with racism informed her approach to economics.
Now, she is Trump’s latest target in his effort to exert more control over the central bank.

Honestly, this may be one of the most important media graphs I've ever seen.

The claim: Democrats keep using annoying words.
The data: Republicans CLAIMS Democrats use them, which then becomes the narratives.

Then centrists attack DEMS for things GOPer CLAIM they say, not GOP for making stuff up.
