Tbch, I’m low on funds rn but I’m looking forward to having a blu ray in the future of some of my favorite episodes. I haven’t been able to watch recently (just an ADHD hyperfixation on something else + work), but this has me wanting to watch more recent eps to see what seasons I want in the future!

DHS and MAGA are spreading propaganda claiming the Minneapolis driver tried to run over ICE. That claim is completely false. Multiple videos from different angles (recorded by people on the scene) clearly show that this did not happen. ICE killed a US citizen. Justice is required for this killing.

Okay, here’s the thing- I understand the sentiment, “AI” isn’t art. I agree. That doesn’t necessarily mean that someone with difficulty managing “rude criticism” shouldn’t be making art. This continues to feed into the mindset that pushes people to “AI”- perfectionism and lack of skill w/o supports

This has been said a million different times and ways and it never seems to penetrate but I’ll try again: Using AI to “do” art isn’t possible. Art is not the process of coming up with a good idea to get started and then executing it flawlessly in the style of someone you admire.

Wild to me that I used to think looking around at other people’s fashion and aesthetics for things *on Google* wasn’t creative inspiration sourcing for writing stories or songs or anything else. But it’s more creative than GenAI bc I was cultivating a knowledge of where it came from
Been thinking on the use of GenAi for mood boards. Ethics and legal risks aside, I truly believe using GenAi as references deprives one of many pivotal things.
