I taught a boy with ADHD before and after diagnosis and medication. The transformation was incredible and the boy that was always there, hidden by his behaviours, was able to emerge. The medication didn't restrain him, it set him free.

After speaking to someone who obtained refugee status, he said that he had a 2-hour interview on arrival to assess if he was an asylum seeker, then an 8-month wait, before having a 1-hour interview to see if he was a refugee. I think I can see a way to greater efficiency there.
