I’m never sure how much I believe that story. I’m sure there are lots of scenes where they imply shark (through barrels, the destroyed jetty etc.) rather than show, but the structure of the film seems to be in place before the open water shoot starts.

In case anyone was wondering how Tim Westwood got away with it for so long…

News report stating: BBC director-general Tim Davie called the claims made against Westwood "appalling" and initially said he'd "seen no evidence of complaints" before later backtracking.
The BBC later confirmed that it had received six complaints about the DJ.
