At the end of the summer season Cheltenham Lido drains down the pool and re-fills for winter cold water swimming. But before that, they open it to dogs for the weekend. It's Mabel's favourite day of the year.

The Lost in Space episode ’Follow the Leader’ (1966) feels like a dry run for The Shining, with the family patriarch becoming possessed and threatening his loved ones. It’s easily one of the scarier things they ever did.

Not found footage as such, but I remember really appreciating an episode of the TV series Logan’s Run which used plausible angles for surveillance camera footage. It’s nice when they do it right.

Expensive/exclusive health seems to come up a bunch in (comparatively recent) sci-fi; Prometheus, Elysium, V (remake miniseries) and it’s even alluded to in Star Trek Into Darkness of all things!
