Known for his scores for SCREAM and other horror films, he has a very wide range, and has worked with Guillermo del Toro, James Mangold, Kathryn Bigelow and others.
Emmy winner and Academy Award nominee Beltrami is 59 today.

The Jolly Fisherman tourism poster showing a jovial chubby guy skipping down a beach in his wellies with nary a care in the world. In this instance, everything has a reddish tinge, there's no beach or sea, just an expanse of red land under an equally red sky. The jolly fisherman is now Cohaagen from "Total Recall" (1990) whose head has swollen to alarming proportions as his eyes pop out of their sockets.
