Woolwich Foot tunnel is on a map for ‘Spatial Site’ but not under Transport. @royalgreenwich.bsky.social please correct me if wrong because it’s very strange that such a crucial active travel link is missing from the Local Plan . @transportforall.org.uk @inclusionlondon.bsky.social

Swifts are in serious decline across the UK, with their population dropping by 66% since 1995.
Yesterday the Scottish Parliament backed our amendment to introduce nesting bricks in new buildings. This will help reverse that trend and make our communities more liveable for birds. 🌍

Of note, lifts don’t work well in these blocks of flats. My guess is that the contractor Precision Lifts (contract signed in 2018 for £12 million) carries out this work. They’re also in charge of the foot tunnel lifts…. @escalatenow.bsky.social .
