Just the standard 'radio comedy to horticulture to writing weird stuff' career path over here. I veer from shy to giddy, on social media, and also in the human world.
Everybody look at this because it is CORRECT. Not sarcasm I just talk like this
I will not accept The Power of Love by Frankie Goes to Hollywood slander in my mentions.

Your yearly reminder that it’s almost time to prepare the prune Krampus
Forget cheese and pineapple hedgehog, every party needs an edible Krampus. Especially knowing how much children love prunes.

Busy weekend and I couldn't work out if I should rest or try some work

Husband gave me a sandwich & I couldn't remember how to eat it

So, I'm guessing rest?

i feel sorry for former bbc employees who slag the bbc off in the papers, because it shows they don’t have any friends from when they worked there to vent to on whatsapp

So in my rules for public transport, you can't do any phone noise without headphones, but it is fine to shout DOGGY and then repeatedly whisper affections to the doggy

If you're looking for songs to sing to your cat (obviously we write them too) then I really recommend Can't Take My Eyes Off You, it works so well, as I discovered at 2am

Was really struck by what a lovely inspiring exercise this is, like a primary school version of Mary Oliver’s Instructions for living a life
Pay attention.
Be astonished.

By the way, I figured I'd just change my name on here

Rather than say, every single time I meet anyone from online, 'yeah I prefer it if you say Kate in real life, Katie makes me feel like I haven't tidied my room'

Horror

Yesterday, was in London Review Bookshop which is so nice and so calm

Whole time there I thought huh interesting they're playing lesser known Queen songs

Until I exited & realised my left thigh had played them from my phone

I was a haunted jukebox, I was The Noise in the Calm

We should teach our kids this stuff like we do road safety.

(And to identify the behaviour in the first place. A narcissist is not what most people think - in the colloquial sense - and they’re all much the same, the boring little boilerplate toxic toddlers.)
How to deal with a narcissist. I hadn’t heard about this until yesterday. There’s some interesting data behind these titles and definitely worth reading up about it.

Was unsure why a man on train had DICK written on his trainers, in small letters

So DIOR might want to consider optical effect of logo size

Parents, please check your kids’ candy this Halloween. I’ve just found an ancient metal whistle with the inscription “QUIS EST ISTE QUI VENIT" inside a Snickers bar. I blew it and heard a note of infinite distance, and now I’m haunted by a figure in pale, fluttering draperies. Be safe.
