why are no national Democrats out on the street of Minneapolis taking a physical stand for democracy, rule-of-law, and basic human decency with The People risking their lives for their neighbors, for US?

This stems from the latent belief that the Americans who matter the most are rural and exurban Americans right of center. This, in turn, is the product of the Senate and the Electoral College.
hard not to notice that as trump's polls crater and gop gets crushed in election after election, news orgs are not racing around hiring progressive commenters and boasting about how they're reaching out to real americans by following the will of the volk.

It depends if it’s libertine speech or not.
“First Amendment Zones” are Orwellian nonsense of the same vintage as “homeland security”
BRENNAN: Noem called on your to set up a safe zone where protest would be contained. Is that something you're looking at?

JACOB FREY: First Amendment speech is not limited to one park or one section of the city. You're allowed to protest so long as you're doing it peacefully

just increasingly obvious that everything online Dems got excited about in casting Newsom as a “fighter” was simply the skilled efforts of a comms team who knows exactly what online Dems will fall for, while the man himself has a spine made of absolute tapioca pudding
I put myself through the entire interview. Trust me when I tell you that Gavin "dank memes" Newsom agrees with him on EVERYTHING. I literally says "I agree with you" on EVERYTHING. Ben "extremely unpopular even with MAGA" Shapiro gets very combative with him and Gavin capitulates EVERY time.
Ben Shapiro: "Israel did not commit a genocide in Gaza"
Gavin Newsom: "I agree with you."
