You do not need to traumatize yourself to be a better person, a better activist, to better oppose the people and forces engaged in this murderous evil. You just need to know it's happening and take action.

Reminder:

If you get exhausted and burn out and give up, you lose. If you stay in, you win. Just by existing, you win!

So taking little breaks for joy is fine! Good actually!

Helping other people find joy, gives you joy too! Joy is not conserved! The laws of thermodynamics don't apply to joy!

Still, call your senators and tell them NO FUNDING FOR ICE AT ALL and stress to them that they must vote NO to any "reforms" like "training" and body cams that would give more money to ICE. NO. DEFUND AND ABOLISH. THAT'S IT.

they can't even fucking say how they feel anymore, not on bluesky, not anywhere. I'm so beyond disappointed in bluesky for how heavy-handed their moderation is, it isn't even just for explicit things, it's just for insinuation or even vibes

Concerned this will be something like Pritzker bringing the state police to Broadview. The official narrative was that they were there to protect us, but what they really did was insulate ICE from protest. There are protesters who are still facing charges from their violent arrests by state cops.

I'm not sure Democrats in D.C. are aware that their base's rage against ICE has reached a level of blinding white-hot intensity.

They're worried about "looking weak" for voting "against law enforcement" when they should be worried a mob of housewives is going to come beat them to death if they do.

Mental health playground break! He loves exploring (empty, it's WAY too cold outside for kids) playgrounds and also taking direction from me to navigate the weird little designs all the different playgrounds have. It's great practice for everyday obstacles and cramped spaces! 🐺 💕 ▶️

ICE just executed another person in the street in Minneapolis. They already had him subdued and beaten.

No need to seek out the video. It’s bad.

Watching closely to see if any of our leaders here do anything but express dismay. And that does not include siccing “our” police on protesters!

Painted in 1899, Félix Vallotton’s portrait is of his wife Gabrielle Rodrigues-Henriques (née Bernheim as in the art gallery Bernheim-Jeune). The couple married in May of that year, triggering a complete shift in Vallotton's working, out went printmaking and in came painting.
