This is the most WTF-tastic list of "People Also Ask" questions I've ever gotten from Google. Is LGBTQ panic leaking over from X + Grok into Gemini?

In the past it's taken some of my colleagues several weeks to produce a response like this. Technology is making frightening progress!

We're in St. Thomas, next to the Cybertruck of sailboats, which is sharing a dock with the Cybertruck of yachts. Seems that the watercraft of the rich and famous have a distinct esthetic these days.

Nooooo -- how many more years are they going to keep sending out fundraising emails from James Carville? The guy had one hit 33 years ago! This would be the same thing as the first Bill Clinton campaign sending out material under the name of JFK's campaign strategist!

Party City keeping it spooky throughout -- each listing in their store locator names the dead husk of the former year-round job-providing, tax-paying business that's now serving as their host!

It's all hands on deck. I am shamelessly asking, one more time, for reposts and signal boost as this bird glides toward a landing in a few hours. It's gonna be a beautiful book, and there aren't going to be very many available afterwards!

THE RADICAL LEFTISTS HAVE KILLED OUR BUSINESS
[also we got bought out by private equity who shuttered the store and fired everyone]
BUT IT WAS MOSTLY THE RADICAL LEFTISTS
also can we have a federal bailout 🥹

NPR had *Newt Gingrich* on my radio this afternoon, sharing his perspective -- surprise, his perspective is that shutdowns are bad for Democrats!

He did sound like he has one foot in the grave, though, so at least there's that.

Right now Schumer is putting together a package of enhanced tax credits and accelerated capital depreciation schedules in hopes it'll entice ABC into putting Kimmel back on the air by late 2026. Desperate times call for decisive action!
Chuck Schumer just told CNN, in the wake of Kimmel’s suspension, that “we are not that country.”

Alas we are, now. Maybe not forever. But now.

Today's NY Times "man in a diner" opinion roundup features Southern California's CHARLES PHOENIX?!?!

His opinion was correct (yes, we're "that kind of country" where political killings happen), I'm just more used to seeing Charles comment on kitsch culture.

The tariff letters Trump has sent to foreign leaders this week have been the ravings of a complete and total mad man.

Our country avoids the conversation about his fitness to serve at our own peril.
We are in new territory with Trump’s latest trade letter, threatening a 50% tariff on imports from Brazil starting Aug. 1
—The US runs a rare trade surplus with Brazil, so there’s no deficit to fix
—Trump says these duties are explicitly over political concerns, not economic ones
