He knew who Epstein was and invited him to Bard High School anyway. Botstein denies it, but, "an undated photo in the documents depicts what appears to be three young women or girls, whose faces are redacted, two of whom are wearing shirts that read 'Bard High School Early College Cleveland.'”

I mean, the one on the right is gay AND Latino. It’s almost not even fair to compare, one has a real advantage here. But also, fuck Kid Rock and his meth face.

Immeasurable contribution to music. Rest easy
Ebo Taylor, who did for Ghanaian music what his friend Fela Kuti did for Nigeria, has been called the greatest rhythm guitarist in history.

His son Kweku Taylor:
“The world has lost a giant, a colossus of African music, leaving behind an unmatched artistry legacy. Dad, your light will never fade.”

also the venn diagram of people mad they can't understand the lyrics and the people who think born in the usa is about how good america is is a circle
my opinion on the Bad Bunny halftime show, and non-English music in general, is that i think a need to “be able to understand the lyrics” displays an embarrassing shallowness of the speaker to appreciate the voice as an instrument & to appreciate music as something other than a lyric delivery system

On Facebook, friends of mine are posting photos on the set of the Muppet Show, because I was on staff at the National Puppetry Conference for over a decade.

On LinkedIn, I scroll past a video of lifeless AI muppets, generated by an old colleague who once told me he doesn't "get music"

A requiem for arts coverage
I used to say I wished that newspapers would treat their arts sections the way they treated their sports sections. What I meant was that sports sections offered a balanced mix of news stories, feature...
