I wrote for my high school yearbook, so technically I'm a published author.

I just try to turn thoughts into words. Sometimes it doesn't work...

It's all so pathetic and absurd. Fuck.

I wish the Democrats were as sinister and conniving as Santa Monica Goebbels paints them to be.
“…And yet there are Republican lawmakers who eagerly facilitate the disinheritance of their own children.”

That right there is some dark, disturbing shit.

The Trump Administration forced DC to obliterate and repave Black Lives Matter Plaza. Now Nancy Mace wants to rename it after Charlie Kirk. If it passes, DC residents will have a new place to spit and urinate in public.
If passed, H.R. 6578 — the "Charlie Kirk Freedom of Speech Plaza Act" — could stir new tensions between the District and the Trump administration over the name of the intersection at 16th Street NW between H and K streets.
Bill would rename Black Lives Matter Plaza after Charlie Kirk
A bill introduced in the U.S. House on Wednesday would rename the former Black Lives Matter Plaza site in Washington, D.C. after conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Get ready for Trump Weed.

It's just some shake and a whole lotta stems and seeds.
My bet, based largely on the sudden posting of promotional materials for vendors of cannabis products on Trump's Truth Social account over the last six months, is that Trump and his children and members of his entourage, have made substantial investments in cannabis companies in the last few months.

ok so the reason money makes you stupid is that once you have so much of it, you don't have to solve problems anymore. you can pay others to take care of everything and you still get more money but you never have to think. much like a muscle, the brain gets weak when you don't use it.
R U ok with paying 8 to 12 pct more in taxes and possibly losing your standard deduction ?

R U ok with losing access to different curative medications and care because the government can't afford to pay for them, even after taxing all the billionaires 90 pct?

This is precisely how 14 year old me got my parents to get me a dirt bike. It works!
It’s annoying for me to keep saying it but you want something, you push for what you want, find the people who can give it to you, and don’t stop annoying them until they cave.

It's heartening the leadership firewall against any talk of impeachment is breaking down, because it's so delusionally out of touch with reality. Either you mean what you say about the current anti-constitutional crime spree or you don't, and if you do, impeachment is the unavoidable implication.
Yes, I'm taking the first step towards Noem's impeachment.

I demand a full investigation into Secretary Noem's unlawful actions and unethical behavior. The people will have accountability.

I can't emphasize enough that the public sees Trump as a regular partisan president rather than a threat to the Republic because Democrats consistently act like he's a regular president and not a threat to the Republic.
They will do the same mindless, cowardly thing over and over until we get a real leadership turnover.
Significant statement from Jeffries and House Democratic leaders saying they will vote “present” on the motion to table Al Green’s resolution to impeach President Trump. They say they’re “laser-focused on fighting to lower the high cost of living” plus on health care and corruption.

You can't "overturn" an executive order because THEY ARE NOT LAWS. Stop accepting fascist framing holy goddamn fuck
BREAKING: Democrats and Republicans in Congress just voted to pass the Protect America’s Workforce Act to restore federal workers’ union rights – the first time the House has voted to overturn a Trump executive order in this term. https://bit.ly/4oNyBQc

Democratic leadership didn’t want to stick their necks out for him. The GOP didn’t want him even referred to as a “Maryland man.” Sen. Chris Van Hollen, his congressional representative fought for him. And we should never forget any of this. apnews.com/article/abre...

* 3 co-chairs (Davids, Pappas, Sorensen)
* 8 vice chairs (Fletcher, Lieu, Peters, Pingree, Quigley, Scanlon, Soto, Wasserman-Schultz)
* 83 members

"Legislative poverty" indeed.

The asset limit for SSI is $2000. If your benefits total, say, $700, you can't have more than $1300. Or your benefit check will tip you over the limit. Then goodbye benefits.

Can't escspe poverty if you are legally barred from saving money.
Disabled people do not owe you their medical history or an explanation as to why they receive certain benefits

The idea that people must humiliate themselves for a meagre benefit that forces them into legislative poverty is another part of eugenics

We deserve a living wage.

We are not expendable.

The Democrats are all trying to suss out what is the bare minimum they need to do to make all this anger at them stop with impeachment.

The answer is actually impeach the motherfucker and then get him thrown in prison.

According to a new court filing, the Trump administration has a six-page list of banned words that Head Start locations are forbidden from using when describing their programs.
Among the censored words: "disability," "race," "women," "trauma," "Gulf of Mexico." Short thread with the full list. 🧵

Drown them in it.

She (and any other Democrat) could file impeachment articles right now. File new ones daily. Everybody take turns.

Trying to get that orange menace removed from office is the bare fucking minimum any of you electeds should be doing.
Trump’s obsession with me is beyond weird. He needs serious help.

Since he has no economic policies to tout, he’s resorting to regurgitating bigoted lies instead.

He continues to be a national embarrassment.
Trump: "Ilhan Omar, whatever the hell her name is. With her little turban. I love her. She comes in, does nothing but bitch ... we ought to get her the hell out ... she's here illegally."

The crowd in Pennsylvania then starts chanting "send her back!"
