So, we went through the whole process to apply for financial assistance from the hospital to get this $1,500 forgiven or reduced, and they said no. No appeal, no nothing, just a denial. Even the payment plan options they have given us are outside of our budget. Any help would be so appreciated.

Olivia Nuzzi is 32. I cannot stand it when bad actors and their bad-faith defenders pretend that *actual adults* are somehow "too young" to be responsible for their actions. And let's be honest about who gets handed the "oh, they're so young!" card: whiteness and class (at minimum) are def at play.
Possibly the only thing more freakish than Nuzzi's prose is the contortions her defenders twist themselves into. "She's not just hot, but she definitely is hot, while also being a vulnerable smol child. Also, criticizing her is sexist."
