The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

When the now predominant “American white” (German) culture came to the US, the pre-existing English-American and Dutch-American colonists thought they were weird and so was their language and their food. This is what happens here, that’s what the US has been since it was colonized.
