i am going 2 become the joker
when trans people take HRT to feel normal: “look at these depraved sex freaks performing their sick fetish in public, we should bully them out of existence”

when cis ppl take HRT so they can fuck real good:
It is crazy to me that I would likely have to pay big bucks to send my kid to a school where they use chalk, paper and pencils
question at the same time. Worksheets that are just word documents, so you can't type on the "lines" without everything reformatting. You're supposed to record yourself reading Spanish in an app that never works properly. PDFs uploaded at resolutions so low they can't be read.

It is demoralizing.

Even the car industry knows that cars are actually terrible at providing fast and reliable transportation, especially in cities, so they have to convince you that just spending time in and around them is worth the expense and effort.
Trapped in traffic and stuck travelling long distances to work because of car-centric planning?

Be grateful, says Mercedes-Benz’s latest advert which aims to persuade us that spending two years of our lives stuck inside a car is somehow actually a good thing.

I know that there are people outside Chicago who are paying attention and seeing these videos but there are no words for how it feels when the videos show everyday places in your neighborhood, places that are part of your routine. The sense of violation is profound.

Agents chased two workers in this ^ incident. Neighbors tell us one made it on to the roof and hid under a tarp until they left. They say feds had to have either jumped the fence or kicked the gate in for access.

If you are on ICE watch in the Rogers Park vicinity please have a buddy and exercise extreme caution. ICE has assaulted verifiers today and arrested at least one of our people. If you are vulnerable to ICE in this area, I recommend staying inside if possible.

Car loans becoming delinquent is rising in all ZIP Codes and for all credit scores. The average cost of a new car is $50,000. We must fund Chicago transit to ensure affordable transportation options are available. This is critical to household financial stability. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/20/b...

Here's a gift link to the New York Times' coverage of the initial Tea Party rallies in April 2009 which inspired the media to treat it like a massive movement.

Check out how tiny the crowds were:

Philly: 200
DC: "several hundred"
Boston: 500
Austin: 1,000
Houston: 2,000

Say what you will about the French but they kinda nailed it with the whole “I’m gonna jet work early, hit the patisserie, and bike around chomping baguettes and ripping a cig”
When we were in Le Mans I saw like five people walking down the street happy as hell eating demibaguettes, my envy has never been stronger
if the baguette was not meant to be chomped why is it a chompable configuration

The news that the owner of the South Shore raid building knew in advance of the raid, proactively identified non-paying units to federal authorities, and permitted/endorsed the raid fits squarely in the category of information that is essentially expected, but still horrifying.

It's like the nursery rhyme says:

Oh, the former Duke of York,
He had 12 million quid,
He gave it to victims he "never met,"
For things he "never did."
