Friendly reminder from your local MD: please fill out/SIGN your durable power of attorney forms to designate someone to make decisions for you. I don’t care if you’re 20, 60 or 80. Everybody needs one. Save your family the stress later and just do it now and put it in a safe place.
K thanks bye

Catherine O'Hara is as much of a "good in absolutely everything, no matter how good the thing itself was" actor as Philip Seymour Hoffman.

A major newspaper publishing guide to help people identify the munitions their government is using against them is a real "Late Republic America" timepeice that future historians will comment on.
Here's how to identify some crowd control munitions, canisters of which federal agents have left on the ground after deploying them against people in Minnesota. bit.ly/3YWp1jE

Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now

You cannot have heart eyes for the Obama years and not see Mike Brown, Tamir Rice, Freddie Gray, Sandra Bland, etc as being a systemic problem. I don't want a return to "less abuse" just like you wouldn't be ok with your spouse agreeing to beating your ass fewer times a month. The whole thing stinks

I fear my tipping point into madness is "Thus is un-American" posts in response to ICE terrorizing immigrants. I beg you to open Wikipedia (I would say a book but let's start small) and read up on The Trail of Tears, Fugitive Slave Catchers, Japanese internment, Indian Boarding schools & Jim Crow

"We don't have to let atrocities define America" but America was built on atrocities. America sustains itself through atrocities. And America is not alone in that. So perhaps, perhaps clinging to the myths and ignoring the realities isn't actually effective in the slightest

I was just illegally denied entry to Dilley Detention Center. Because they have something to hide.

Indiana's 16 wins this season are more than they had in the 4 seasons COMBINED (15) before Cignetti took over in 2024.

Indiana had never had DOUBLE DIGIT WINS in a season until last year. They've done it in consecutive seasons and have a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP too

Stating the obvious....everything about this Indiana/Cignetti story is absolutely bonkers. 100+ years of history saying you literally *can't* do what they just did. Amazing.

Indiana hasn't had a coach with an overall winning record since the 1930s. Cignetti is 26-2. Unreal.
