My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far

I think the belief by the powerful that "people will put up with many things if you are excellent at math" is incredibly revealing in terms of understanding How We Got Here

Settling into my new working mom life is crazy.....this too shall pass, but creating a new routine is challenging.

I wish we had six months of paid maternity leave at least.

I truly do hope things ultimately work out for us common folk, but I can't lie....those senators really let the air out of the proverbial sails after Tuesdays victories.
But there are real dangers out there that must be fought; and energy spent fighting each other is energy lost to that bigger fight.

You cant fix sociocultural grievance with a goverment program. That's the main flaw and vulnerability in left wing politics. Those are hardest to address when sociocultural grievance is wrapped in a facade of "economic anxiety".

I think Greene senses a change in her electorate and is changing her tune. She still supports Trump and that tells me all I need to know.
Greene: "I will praise Nancy Pelosi. She had an incredible career for her party. I served under her speakership in my first term in Congress and I'm very impressed at her ability to get things done. I wish we could get things done for our party like Nancy Pelosi was able to deliver for her party."
