A tale told by an attorney, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Former fed.

Mostly law, econ, and politics.

This is not a place of honor

I’ve been doing that with some friends, quietly. (Jokingly calling in Project 2029 but really The Truth and Consequences Agenda). Key things involve utterly destroying GOP power structures and bases, packing the union and the courts…

This is ridiculous. It was the first TRUMP admin which developed the cases against President Hernandez. His brother Tony Hernandez was indicted in 2018 and convicted in 2019, and key ally Geovanny Fuentes Ramirez was indicted in 2020.

Both were later sentenced to life in prison!
Leavitt: "The people of Honduras have highlighted to him how the former President Hernandez was set up. This was a clear Biden over prosecution."

My most small c conservative take was it was good that we banned gambling and actually we should go back to that except for in Vegas and also that includes loot crates for intangible goods.

They haven't even gone to the pretense of giving him some made-up official role and title, as they easily could and did during the first term. They're flaunting the lawlessness and patrimonialism, as if being a close relative of Trump is in and of itself enough to be conducting foreign policy.
We have a cabinet level Secretary of State, a diplomatic corps, Special Envoys, and Defense team to do this work.

“Son-in-law” is not a government job. Kushner does not represent us.

the primary thing that TPUSA provides to young conservatives is a blueprint for weaponizing the abject cowardice of university administrators against individual teachers and instructors, and university admins should take a long look in the mirror and think about what that says about them

Trump is invading American cities to nominally address crime, and I think the scale of his pardon-sprees should be given more political salience
When this criminal was jailed, the judge told David Gentile and America: ‘This is a warning to would-be fraudsters that seeking to get rich by taking advantage of investors gets you only a one-way ticket to jail.’ I guess not

This is profoundly irresponsible by AGSulzberger’s NYT, @by-cjewett.bsky.social +eds.

The normalization, “view-from-nowhere”, “born-yesterday”, stenography, “both-sides”, irresponsible headline are disgraceful.
THE story is the CDC&FDA are being destroyed by antiscience & Americans will die.

Media need to report on this as they report on other baseless claims of the antivax movement, bc the lunatics are running the asylum at the FDA.

The institution is compromised. Make it clear who made this decision and how little work they showed *in the headline*. Don’t confuse the public further.
News media has to do better with headlines that present false and unverified public health claims.

To be explicit, we executed a German U-Boat commander who said he had to sink lifesaving gear / “inadvertently” kill survivors because it might give away his position, thereby potentially resulting in the loss of his submarine.

We executed multiple members of that crew.
Heinz-Wilhelm Eck might have something to say about this one.

"a single person of this demographic may have committed a crime, therefore we must punish the entire demographic" is a policy response you may recognize from fascist governments dedicated to ethnic cleansing elsewhere.

A tsunami looks like a ripple until it gets to shallower water near shore
Evidence that the massive swing among young voters back to Dems that we saw in NY, VA, and NJ earlier this month is not limited to those states.

Take PA: from Eday '24 to Jan 20th, young new regisrants were +5R.

In the last month of this year's election they were +24D.

I repeat, RFK Jr doesn’t have to say “I’m banning vaccines” to effectively ban vaccines. Exhibit umpteen hundred and sixteen (this happened the same day they appointed the anti-vaxxing snake-oil salesman above as deputy CDC head):
The CDC has turned off its vaccine search tool.

The vaccines.gov site now gives an error when you enter a valid zip code.

They also removed text saying “Vaccines can help you stay healthy” and added a banner saying the site is being updated.

The fascist right doesn’t believe that American Jews belong in America. They want us to live in our own ethno-state—not here.

People like Zohran believe America is a multiracial democracy in which everyone should belong.

It’s insane the latter is treated as antisemitism.

DOGE hasn’t gone away, it’s metastasized.
The Reuters article is more illustrative than the headline of course, but “DOGE doesn’t exist anymore” is a misleading premise because more than 100 former DOGErs have become deeply embedded in federal agencies to generally fuck around with our data and arbitrarily disrupt budgets.
UPDATE: We've added 5 more staffers to our DOGE tracker, taking the total to 114.

This is everyone who we've confirmed has worked for DOGE ⤵️

There are going to be prominent Democrats and mainstream media voices who insist that we have to "turn the page" and "forgive and forget" and they should all be roundly ignored, if not mercilessly mocked.
It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.
