1) Carry earplugs. Everywhere. They are *so* easy and small and can really help if things get bad.

Yes, you should assume there are some right-wing freaks and MAGA Feds lurking in huge, highly publicized Signal group chats like the Minneapolis ICE Watch chats.

People have had to sacrifice every aspect of their stability to hide from ICE. They lost jobs. They closed businesses. They used up every last bit of their savings—if they had any to begin with. And some people were taken anyway.
