Bonus points if you have your roasting/sheet pan in the oven to get hot as the oven cranks up. Instant caramelization and a lovely sizzle when the oiled veggies hit the pan.

I feel my life would be very different if somebody had introduced me to roasted veggies before I turned 40.

I honestly think most people don’t know how to cook vegetables. Like, restaurants cannot do it. I don’t understand why you would serve this unless you’re a literal rabbit

List of companies that are taxpayer-subsidized.

Employers should pay a living wage. If their business model doesn't allow them to do that, then their business model is wrong.
The Boston Globe identified the companies in Massachusetts that employ the most SNAP recipients. A key stat: "In Massachusetts, 74% of working-age recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are employed, half of them full-time."

I’ve been thinking about this & I think all three are plausible:

Wake up, dead man
Wake up dead, man
Wake up! Dead man!
Wake Up Dead Man is GREAT and don’t let anyone tell you anything else about it until you see it

*but I was born in Albany,” I whisper, when they get around to deciding US Jews gotta “remigrate” to Tel Aviv
A reminder for those who are not aware: "remigration" is the process of deporting all non-white people from a country. It includes citizens and is, by definition, ethnic cleansing.

And to be clear: this is not fake. I just screenshot it myself.

Dear Country Club Plaza, I love you but you absolutely must fix your restroom problem (ie there aren’t any)
It was a beautiful evening yesterday for the 96th annual Plaza Lighting Ceremony. Great crowds and early holiday cheer.

Looking forward to seeing you tonight for the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting at Crown Center at 6PM. 143 years strong!

It’s useful to think about things like this in numbers of tenure track professors.

$53M is 575 assistant professors. Or more than thirty percent of the total number of full-time faculty at LSU.

As it happens, you know a third with a 3.75 UGPA and a 168 and that person would also not consider a Texas school under any circumstances.

I personally know two law school applicants in this cycle, both exceptionally well-qualified (perfect UGPA + over 170 LSAT), who would not even consider any law school in Texas
