Adele Jergens walking a turkey

Jergens was BOTD in Brooklyn in 1917. To this day, turkey walking is a big pastime in the BK. Just yesterday I saw Steve Buscemi walking a turkey in Park Slope.

NINE YEAR FAJITA HEIST

(technically nine year fajita fraud scheme but I'm counting this as a heist because it's funny enough)
I remember seeing a story years ago where a prison cook was caught having stolen $1.2 million of fajitas over 9 years.

One week he took off sick, someone else answered the order call and was like "what are you talking about? We don't serve fajitas."

Texas man sentenced to 50 years for stealing $1.2 million worth of fajitas
Gilberto Escamilla had stolen more than $1.2 million worth of fajitas over the course of approximately nine years.

the way that ICE constantly brandish their weapons and point them at protestors, (the first thing you are taught NOT to do in any proper firearms safety training) it's just a matter of time until there's a fucking massacre in the streets - in fact I'm surprised it hasn't already happened

I think we can safely say that the Leavitt's brother called ICE on his ex, the mother of his child, and I have to say: I have no desire to respect, find common ground or share the country with these monsters.
“After Ferreira was detained, Dos Santos Rodrigues said Michael Leavitt Sr. and his father, Bob Leavitt, reached out to her.”

“‘They just kept saying, ‘Tell her to self-deport,’” she recalled. “Self-deport to where? Brazil is not her home.’” www.bostonglobe.com/2025/11/26/m...
‘Brazil is not her home.’ Mother of Karoline Leavitt’s nephew, brought to US as child, detained by ICE. - The Boston Globe
Bruna Ferreira, 33, was brought to the United States as a child in 1998. She is now in removal proceedings in Louisiana.

In case you missed this, the BBC edited a historian's speech about Trump to remove the claim that he's "the most openly corrupt president in US history." This came after Trump had threatened a $1 billion lawsuit.

Elite capitulation continues.

Trump Angrily Threatened to Sue BBC. Then Things Took a Darker Turn.
First, British Broadcasting Corporation execs resigned after Trump complained about a segment. Now the BBC edited out a line from a historian that was critical of Trump. Where does this end?

By the way, note that the description of Biden as being "in obvious mental decline" was left in the speech, while the description of Trump as the "most openly corrupt president in American history" was removed:
Note that the BBC openly admits in an email to me that the removal of this claim about Trump's world-historical corruption was done "on legal advice."

Translation: Trump's threat of a lawsuit, no matter how bogus, has now been rewarded.
