The Staturo is a GIANT size realistic dildo:

10 inches tall and over 2.8 inches in diameter. This one is for size royalty!

Staturo was created through a collaboration of both digital sculpting and hand sculpting.

uberrime.com/collections/...
A realistic dildo standing next to a soda pop can for scale. It has a large, mushroom-shaped head, a very girthy curved shaft, and a traditional flared base. It's much larger and a bit thicker than the can. The Staturo pictured in a dark skin tone in three different angles to show off its skin and vein texturing. Staturo pictured from above to show the thickness of its coronal ridge. Staturo laying on its side. A hand-sculpted vein looks especially thick running along the side of the shaft.

It's why MAGA is losing their mind at family members cutting them off, while those doing the cutting mostly feel relief with some sadness. Families (chosen or not) are great vehicles for shame. So is losing your job after being publicly, aggressively racist. So is refusing to date people on apps

I've shared this before, but I wrote this in 2021 about shame and covid and one of the things we get wrong is where shame needs to come from. I cannot be shamed by fascists because I don't care what fascists think of me. These people have people next to them whose opinion they care about /1

some colleagues have suggested to me that shame is irrelevant because the people on the "other side" don't know or care what "we" (on whatever "this side") think of them. I have...not gotten that impression

I mean if I was as messy as I could be I would ask why white feminists are so mad at Olivia Nuzzi

When Jezebel was giving Hugo Schwyzer articles about how facials were feminists while he was fucking editors

Who got podcasts on racism but hey

This is dark. But also, this display of solidarity on the part of the pentagon press corps should be a model for dealing with the regime

“The Defense Department has confiscated the badges of the Pentagon reporters from virtually every major media organization in America,” the Pentagon Press Association said

Oct. 15, 2025
PENTAGON PRESS ASSOCIATION
STATEMENT
Today, the Defense Department confiscated the badges of the Pentagon reporters from virtually every major media organization in America. It did this because reporters would not sign onto a new media policy over its implicit threat of criminalizing national security reporting and exposing those who sign it to potential prosecution.
The Pentagon Press Association's members are still committed to reporting on the U.S. military. But make no mistake, today, Oct. 15, 2025 is a dark day for press freedom that raises concerns about a weakening U.S. commitment to transparency in governance, to public accountability at the Pentagon and to free speech for all.

It says a LOT of horrifying shit about folks in ways they don't realize: they only waited until the social stigma against using it was gone, so they've proven they don't have a moral backbone or sense of compassion beyond what looks bad to others. It's just so disturbing!

Seeing the ease folks had with using the r word again and leaving millions to die or suffer in isolation by letting covid get this bad proved this for me

Every year since 2001 has been nothing but nonstop mask off moments frfr, at some point you just gotta see people for who they are

It’s been then media class game for a long while now. As long as no one is actively yelling slurs, then they’ll perform ignorance to the dog whistles.
Most of them think the same way anyway, and are happy to finally be able to let up on holding themselves back from their worst impulses.

I think a lot of white people are discovering in real time how many other white people only have a problem with direct slurs and politeness

Not actual discrimination

This is good: Rep Eric Swalwell tells me House Dems are now discussing making an end to mask-wearing a precondition for ICE funding.

"When we are in the majority, the masks are coming off," he says.

This is the next frontier in anti-Trump resistance.

If they can't even fight with less power, then drag their feet to where things can get this bad when they do have power, why should we continue giving them power?

They aren't the answer to these problems and are literally part of the problem itself, we deserve better and can get that without them

These dice have been calling me out since day one and I just wanna know if they'd like to fight about it?!?!?! I've never been more trolled by a divination tool in my life 😂 Like I rolled all my dice together for a reading, just to test how everything could work together, and one of the dice-

I had a moment where I genuinely wanted to throw my dice against the wall today because why did one roll to the floor...just to land on Earth/coins 🫩

The rest of the reading told me to stop being wishy washy and just talk about what I'm upset on

Like you right but the trolling was NOT NECESSARY 😩

There's a certain point where people need to realize that we're complaining to the wrong people about the cost of public goods we should pay for because we aren't paid enough to support them, or anything we want, as we should.

That point was decades ago, but now is a good time to start!

We do have a paywall, and that's because journalism has a cost. We pay all our contributors 0.50c a word & the founders haven't been compensated for the year, so we do ask for people to pay for our content. We still haven't made a profit this year, so we are unapologetic about that.

Many of us whose progressive values drive us to indie media wish we could give our stuff away.

The thing is, we need to eat and we need resources to do the work. Somebody’s gotta pay for it.

The Flytrap gives away one free post a month. My newsletter, The Bugbear Dispatch, goes every other post.

1. If you want indie journalism, you gotta pay for it.

2. Paywalls work. I resisted using a paywall for a long time until I realized I had to if I wanted to pay my bills.

3. Journalism is a public good that doesn't exist without public support. Keep it out of billionaire hands with a paid sub.
