Just imagining how much better it would be if ALL news stories about vaccine-preventable illnesses were illustrated with pictures of people with the disease, not pictures of needle injections. If you must show something that people will find scary & unpleasant, make it the disease, not the cure.

It originally stated when I squirted out Kid 1, but really got going when Kid 2 had bad infant GERD. Turns out a baby who screams 75% of the time makes it impossible to run your very successful business out of your home. So, we decided I’d quit my part time retail job so hubs could keep his biz.

Only chronically ill/medically complex people understand how devastating it is to lose a once easily accessible vein to scar tissue build up, thus reducing potential sites for IVs and blood draws. RIP to my right arm’s median cephalic vein. Enjoy your retirement.
