I do find it fascinating how much empathy White people get for self radicalizing while other demographics get so much worse. Its the platform, its the algorithm, its COVID, its mental illness....anything but admit agency and intention
I have a friend for instance - an assistant headteacher in a grammar school in South East England - who has radicalised herself into racism and fascist apologia simply by being there. Would that be the case if liberals she took seriously were still posting on the app by which she’s addicted?

I think it's really cool that we have democratic leadership that is largely silent about this issue. A leadership that believes making a "tsk tsk" press release once every month counts as a form of political opposition while otherwise dropping the issue in its entirety.
