If you are a journalist still at CBS it's important to understand that the core tension between you and Weiss is that you think it's bad to print lies in the newspaper and she doesn't care.
again thinking of when The Free Press ran an article alleging that George Floyd was not killed by the cops, and @radleybalko.bsky.social proved beyond any question that the article was bullshit, and instead of retracting it Weiss asked him to come on her podcast
CNN has a show with a similar line. That the problem with this country is we just aren’t talking to each other.

Another disaster. This one has actual harmful consequences for trans kids and their families.
Under the proposed rule issued by the Trump Administration today, any Medicare- or Medicaid-participating hospital would be barred from providing gender-affirming care to *any child*, even if the care is not paid for by Medicare or Medicaid.

Godfrey Wade served overseas, earned commendations, and is now sleeping on the floor in sewage-soaked conditions, denied a hearing, and told deportation is "final."

Requiring temporary visitors to surrender five years of social media to the U.S. sends the message that the American commitment to free speech is pretense. This simply is not the behavior of a country confident in its freedoms.

It's a threat to free speech around the world and must be opposed.
Foreign tourists could be required to disclose 5 years of social media histories under Trump administration plan

Important: Now that Republicans are claiming they're "satisfied" by the video, note that Rep Adam Smith says here that Democrats asked for public release of it, and were told by officials that it isn't their call.

Will Republicans join Dems in calling for the video's release?

All in here:
More: Lawmakers pressed officials on releasing the video, and the officials said it isn't their call. And they have no recording of radio traffic from the men, Rep Smith says.

Video and legal memo on broader strikes should be released. This should increase pressure:

tl;dr: Only CEOs want this. Tell them how much you hate it. Be loud, email, call, @, post. You will kill this.

The only thing less human than these AI dub performances is the decision to sign off on them

A company this big can pay human actors a decent wage, not produce slop that intentionally removes the human element.
