I hate the online reaction cycle that praises a piece of art a lot and uses it as an example of what’s good about the medium but then the moment it gets awards or enough acclaim or fandom, suddenly we have to talk about how it’s actually not really that good and it’s overrated and always sucked

The amount of times I have played Lunacid to 100% completion should probably qualify me for a grippy sock vacation.
45. Lunacid

This is yet another game that I really must revisit because what I've played made an absolute hell of an impression. Some of the best retro styled visuals I've seen, it's truly gorgeous.

I will not be watching The Game Awards tonight. I encourage you not to as well.

If you'd like to support developers, watch their trailers online and wishlist their games (or pre order!)

We do not have to participate in Geoff's love letter to capitalism. You do not "have to hand it to him."

Stardew Valley was my GOTY 2016. While I still love Stardew, Kitty HorrorShow’s Anatomy is my favorite 2016 game.
Quote this with what you would have said your game of the year was at the end of 2016, and what you would say your favourite game of 2016 is now, if it differs

If the average American could read a book, and ever read a book on the history of Korea and the United States' involvement in the history of the nation, I like to think they'd feel such intense shame that their heads would explode Scanners style, if the average American could experience shame
that and the folks in South Korea are generally fairly fond of the United States and wish us well because:

cannot stress how much better the world would be if billionaires weren't allowed to exist

Each one of them could solve world hunger alone, they choose not to. The very existence of a billionaire is a failing as they only exist via mass scale exploitation
This is a disgusting amount of money.

Families are losing healthcare and can't afford food or basic necessities.

And the billionaires keep getting richer.
