Four Sets I have a grand total of Zero cards from.

I would like to pick up both a DeLong and Tattoo Orbit but have never seen any in my price range.

I was at the 1996 ASG and the related work out day and don't recall the captains at all.

I do remember that Kelsey Grammar sang the Star Spangled Banner. Sarah McLachlan may have sung "O Canada".

but no recollection of Weaver or Podres, and I was a fan of both.

What Special Teams position can eat the most Pie?
You can’t make me engage in Pie Discourse. I refuse. Y’all need spiritual healing.

Carlos Pena sighting
You will likely see it reported that Morehead's no-no was the last one thrown at Fenway until Derek Lowe in 2002.
As a faithful reader of the SABR Games Project, you will be the first on your block to know that that's nonsense:

Generally everything at Vedge is done very well, well enough that the whole experience is good for an open minded meat-eater.

However the semi-upscale restaurant has a small townhouse style dining room. If you're seated near the bathroom you can hear the hand dryer. it is so distracting.
As an autistic person, I hate the hand dryers too. The sound hurts.

So I generally airdry my hands, or use the seat of my pants.
At this point, the Washpost edit page is just trolling its readers.

This is today's actual house editorial.

If not for this sage advice what are Friends for?
"Summer of '49" inspired me to be a sportswriter. I mentioned that to one of my friends when we went and heard David Halberstam speak, and he said, "Don't tell him that. He doesn't need that on his conscience."

I come from a Thai Family, I put in my order for Pad See Ew Gai last night. Everyone involved will be happy with the food.

How happy we are with each other is yet to be determined.
Realizing that if I tell my parents that, this year, fuck it, I'm just getting Thai takeout for Thanksgiving I (a) will not have to spend two days cooking; and (b) will get a few weeks of peace around the holidays due to the silent treatment they'll give me. Really failing to see any downsides here.

To me it comes down to the old "You can't believe everything your Read"

which we learned a kids*

*I have no kids of my own and know zilch about parenting - so this is not advice it is just an observation of someone who types a lot of stuff during holiday weeks to procrastinate from work.
One of the most frustrating things for me as a parent is seeing how my kids' teachers haven't adjusted to the reality of internet search being busted and having to homeschool my kids how to actually find information like we did back in the pre-Google days.
Google at its peak was basically the best information retrieval system in human history and they and every competitor decided going from there to “you didn’t want answers you wanted half-assed auto-complete 80%-wrong hallucinations” in a few years was the right idea

probably also know that it's about making Soap
Shit most of us who haven't seen Fight Club also know the second rule.
If the first thing your Fight Club does is leak to the press that you have a Fight Club, you don’t have a technical Fight Club because even people who haven’t seen Fight Club know the first rule of said Fight Club.
