I once read a negative review of my memoir where their primary issue was that I said I was a millennial but all of my pop culture influences were Gen X. And one of their examples of my confounding and unforgivable Gen X loving generation traitor taste? The Prisoner (1967).

IDK man, if a creature experiences physical/mental anguish when it fails to be kind and experiences joy when it helps others, that sounds selfless/altruistic to me.
