🔹 Growing population and dense development due to barriers to the N (mountains) S (US border) and W (ocean)

🔹 Lots of transit-oriented land use – esp in the suburbs, where ridership is soaring

She's ahead 10 points in the race now, and voters prefer her 50-37 on trans issues.

The Maryland Ave cycletrack is an excellent thoroughfare to/from Penn! I lived north and east of it so going to I just rode in the St. Paul bike lane and going home I jogged over to Guilford, through the school district parking lot and over to Barclay. Idk about E-W though.

I forget its original provenance, but “respect” meaning both “treat me like a human” and “treat me like an authority” so “disrespect me and I’ll disrespect you” means “you don’t treat me like an authority, I won’t treat you like a human.” HR trainings “disrespected” them. So the beatings commence.

It’s beyond this. To them, the Dems DID act like this. To them, equitable distribution of government services, a non-binary barista existing in public and having a tip jar, pressing 1 for English, these are horrors visited upon them equivalent to the horrors they’re visiting on Chicago now.

There's a book waiting to be written about how a lot of this type of hypocrisy is due to right-wingers assuming the left thinks and works the same way they do. And how once in power, they act exactly how they assumed and accused the Left or Center of acting when they had the power.

There’s also an argument to be made that while the raw music was all the Beatles’, the album of Let It Be is Phil Spector’s and therefore the Beatles never had a 12th album, just 11 and one feature assist. And the Yellow Submarine soundtrack is also not considered in all of this.
