Future us will look back and realise that the countries who figure out how to manage and use immigration for our benefit are the ones which did the best.
I've felt many things as a "pro-immigration fanatic". Anger at the hate, division and bs spread by likes of the Telegraph mainly, but never "humiliation". The evidence is clear, and global, people move, people have always moved, people will always move, and that is an overwhelmingly positive thing.
Thank bloody goodness.
Breaking - PM WILL attend Cop climate summit in Brazil next month
It's OK - I popped round yesterday and stocked up.
The fact that all cars appear to be left hand drive could also be just a teensy weensy bit suspect. Drivers might be handy, too.
How long before the administration tries to block the import of such weapons of anarchy?
We have frogs everywhere. #NoKings
What's 3 down - "snausages"?
We were escorted to and from Molyneux by police - no stop at the pub!
I was a student at Exeter uni in the 70s when Exeter City were drawn at home to Wolves - the whole stadium was trashed including breaking both cross bars. It was a terrifying experience.
There are reports that an ammunition depot was struck last night in Russian-occupied Donetsk.

Turn the sound on for some secondary detonation!
They were much smaller back in the day.
Defibrillators save lives.

That’s why City Hall is investing £150,000 to support the London Ambulance Service in getting more of these life-saving devices into our communities. This funding will help ensure more Londoners get the urgent care they need, when they need it most.
Duncan - as my physics teacher would say: Units of what?
A functioning democracy would never allow individuals of such limited intellect into positions of authority. Society must be protected against such appalling ignorance.
RFK Jr: We need to stop trusting the experts... Trusting the experts is not a feature of science or democracy, it's a feature of religion and totalitarianism.
They're clearly worried. Why do they keep mentioning it? It would be better for them to ignore it and hope that a docile press will only cover it in passing.

New in PN: The 1,287,923 defects in the Comey case ... so far

"Dismissal is probably the best result for the government, since it would spare the DOJ having its dirty laundry aired in court before getting spanked for having brought such a garbage case. But even so, it'd be very, very funny."

My first vacation job was in a die casting factory. If we were more than 5 minutes late (aggregated over the whole week), we would lose 6p per hour for the whole week. It was the 70s, so my hourly rate was 71p.
I was also born in that glorious year. My memory of the winter of 1961 was when our local substation exploded, presumably due to being overloaded.
Why they aren't talking about the benefits of immigration is beyond me. Demographics and climate change will ultimately get us unless we are brave enough to talk about them in a grown-up way.
Investment in productive activity is incentivised by increases in the cost of labour. Output should increase with little or no increase in employment. The increase in employer NI was a smart move IMO.
Even if it's a long shot, I'd rather he went sooner than later.
Eric Trump: "If he wasn't heaven-bound, he wouldn't have been alive after Butler. If he wasn't heaven-bound, that flag wouldn't have folded up like a perfect angel right above his head. If he wasn't heaven-bound, if he wasn't meant for this purpose, he wouldn't have beaten Hillary."
Nice ear.
Just in case the dramatically low Leni Riefenstahl-style angle was too subtle, they used a word from her most famous movie
Which means what? He might as well just dribble.
Trump: "But Air Force One was really, it was covered with Egyptian desert just a few months ago. If you think about it. Just a few months ago it was Egyptian desert and now it was just a few feet off our window. And it was a spectacular sight."
That's so achingly beautiful. I know exactly that feeling.
The little fella is known for his honesty.
