Switch away from using Google as your phone’s search engine.

Boycott US products where possible and let’s show them what isolation will be like.

I guess if I ran the transport for one of the few EU countries without a rail link to the airport from the capital; without decent cycle or walking infrastructure, in a car clogged pollution nightmare, this is the kind of badly researched ill-informed nonsense I’d be expected to produce.

15 minute cities.
No conspiracy, just nice to have things nearby.
What is a 15-min City?

A term coined by urban planner Carlos Moreno, a professor at Sorbonne University, in 2016

It is how towns and cities evolved before cars were invented.

People lived, worked, and socialized in their local vicinity. Everything they needed day to day was easily accessible

Temu Lord HawHaw doing down our country again.
These so-called "patriotic" 🇬🇧newspapers who brought you Brexit were never really patriotic at all.

They are driven by a disdain for Britain's European neighbours, and a fawning obsession with America.

They do not really want 🇬🇧 to be sovereign. They're content being a 🇺🇸vassal.

Got up from the UK to watch the Seahawks. What is it with this need for a national anthem and worship of the military before a match?
Not a great look after an illegal invasion.
Just kick the game off, FFS.

What an incredible shame.
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

This is seriously worrying - do read the whole thread
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

Once again, bike lanes are good for business
It’s really important that #Vancouver’s Downtown Business Association, who were originally against bike-lanes, are now among their most vigourous supporters, because of ACTUAL EVIDENCE that they’re better for downtown business than any street parking they replaced.

Safe bike-lanes mean business.

Hi @jonathandaviesmp.bsky.social
If your government is going to be cutting the range of bikes available under salary sacrifice schemes, I assume you will be closing other loopholes?

If the UK government got its act together and had passport control on exit as well as for entry this nonsense wouldn’t happen.
And we could use it to ensure the tax exiles are not overstaying their tax free day allowance.
Somebody at HMRC needs to be canned for this idiotic ‘fraud-detection’ idea. And I fear future use of AI in welfare cases might well produce this kind of story regularly (as they have in Nevada for example).
