The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

Working from home makes for an anticlimactic last day. I'm waiting on a couple people to message me and then I guess I'm just turning off my laptop as usual and putting it away and then boom, not working at this company anymore.

AND supporting your local library is super important! If you actually DO want books to be available to everyone, the library *already exists* and is staffed by the people who are deep in the trenches of fighting censorship! Supporting the library is doing actual good for your community!

I've said this before but the secret to moderating the DB chat is that we've grown a wonderful loving community that needs very little hands-on work from us mods. This lets us focus on helping people and means we have more bandwidth to just enjoy the run, so thank you chat for being awesome #DB2025

A lot of things are dark and scary right now, but we still got together to raise over a million dollars to make life better for kids in hospitals. I love @desertbus.org so much and I'm so proud of what everyone does for this each year.
